Ryan Barski has a goal of joining the New York jazz scene, so he has taken great opportunities and turned them into excellent performances. He was awarded the 2017 Rochester International Jazz Festival Scholarship, of which only one or two are selected annually. As if this was not impressive enough, he was also fortunate enough to perform as a solo act at the festival. He has been performing there since 2013.
