He has studied under the tutelage of Rich Thompson and is now studying drum set performance at the Eastman School of Music (Class of 2021). Ryan is a unique drummer in that he has been playing since he was only three years old. With talent and experience, he’s gone on to receive awards including the 2017 Rochester International Jazz Festival Scholarship. His end goal is to work in the jazz scene in New York City, but he also travels and has events that you can attend if you’re interested in seeing him play once again.
