Studying at the Eastman School of Music, Ryan has long believed in working hard to obtain his goals. In 2017, he was awarded the prestigious Rochester International Jazz Festival Scholarship, which is given to only a select number of students each year. He has successfully performed as a solo artist at the same festival. As a jazz performer, Ryan isn’t just there to drum.
